2013 Acura RDX - If you are considering buying the Acura RDX crossover SUV, consider waiting until the all-new 2013 model hits the market this spring because it will have a new engine, rested exterior and more standard features.
2013 Acura RDX - One of the most significant updates is the 2013 RDX’s new engine. In a press release, Acura says the new 3. 5-liter V6 engine, which is matched to a six-speed automatic transmission, makes thirty-three more power than the turbocharged 2. 3-liter four-cylinder engine it replaces.
Standard interior features include leather seats, heated power front seats, a power moonroof, Pandora Internet radio, push-button start and a rearview camera with three views.
Currently, the 2012 RDX ranks at the bottom the luxury compact SUV class for its cheap interior and underpowered turbocharged engine. But the 2013 Acura RDX’s upgrades could bring it right with competitors, like the Audi Q5, Cadillac SRX and BMW X3, which are acknowledged for their agility, speed and quality rooms.
Acura says the 2013 RDX begins at $34, 320 before destination charges. That’s a $1, 425 increase over the 2012 model, but the 2013 RDX is still less expensive than the Q5, SRX and X3. The 2013 Acura RDX goes on sale this spring.
